The lathe rest with face driver can be used for turning wood. The face driver with its claws is mounted in place of the jaw chuck. To do this, the driver is simply inserted into the taper receptacle of the spindle. The claws bite into the face of the workpiece, thus guaranteeing reliable torque transmission. A tip is required as a counterholder (not included in the scope of delivery).
