Note: to accommodate the drill chuck in the machine tool is usually an additional taper mandrel required. The machine tool usually has a Morse taper receptacle (MK) for example MK2 - this Morse taper (MK) is inserted into the receptacle of the machine tool (e.g. drilling quill, Reistock quill of the lathe or milling spindle of the milling machine) - the entrainment takes place here by pure frictional connection - that is, the taper connection is sufficient for the transmission of the torque.
The drill chuck itself is connected to the taper mandrel with a so-called short taper (B-taper).
When ordering the correct taper arbor, you only need to know the mounting of your machine tool (MK) and the mounting of the drill chuck (B). For example, if your machine tool has a MK2 taper mount - you will need a taper arbor for this drill chuck: MK2/B16.
